Pet Nebula believes all dogs and cats deserve a good home, and we encourage potential pet parents to choose the pet that is the best match for their needs and lifestyle. Adult pets make wonderful companions, and you get to keep your carpets and Chacos intact! If you have your heart set on a puppy or kitten, no worries, the shelters get plenty of those too. #2: Affordable.
Shelter adoption fees range from $60-75 for a dog, $60 for a cat, and less for other animals. They are often already spayed or neutered, current on all shots, and have a recent vet check-up! Unless you have your heart set on that one purebred puppy for personal reasons, adopting a pet from a shelter is the smart way to go!
